Wealth and spirit is what the Jews have brought to Amsterdam. Both can still be admired in the former Jewish part of the city. We begin with a visit of the Anne Frank House, and also see the Begijnenhof, where unmarried women lived in safety in earlier times.

Drive to the German city of Trier, visit the historic Roman city with our local guide. After free time in the centre we proceed to the nearby hills for great views over the Moselle river and surrounding famous wine region. Here, in an original villa turned into a restaurant, we enjoy a three-course dinner with drinks, overlooking the valley.

Conducted by an expert local guide, we take an in-depth drive and visit of Belgium's historic heritage. Hitler's Atlantic Wall, the seaside resort of Ostend, Flander's fields, Nieuwpoort war memorial. We finish with a taste of Belgian waffles at a local restaurant.

We go for a magical carriage ride by the colourful canals and squares of the Venice of the North. See the Lake of Love with its gliding swans, the ornate bridges, the step-gabled houses reflecting in the canals, the bells of the carillon chiming - creating a fascinating dream-like atmosphere. Visit the famous battlefields, monuments, historical sights, and discover how this decisive battle changed the face of Europe. See the huge iron monument on top of an artificial mound, built by the widows of battle veterans, from which there is a spectacular panoramic view.
