On a Trafalgar vacation, we take your clients further than they ever imagined possible. We’ll start them off with a Welcome Reception on the first night of their vacation, where they’ll meet their new travel companions at the hotel, a restaurant or a traditional British pub for a casual gathering featuring local cuisine. During their trip they’ll enjoy inclusive Highlight Meals and if they travel to the wine regions of France, Italy, Spain and Portugal they’ll be treated to local wine with dinner. Be My Guest It’s an exclusive invitation to dine with the locals! Your clients will be welcomed into family homes, working farms and other unique venues to try amazing regional cuisine prepared by the hosts. In a charming villa in Tuscany on our Italian Holiday, they’ll be the invited guests of Count Francesco Miari Fulcis and his family and enjoy authentic dishes prepared with home grown ingredients. Hidden Treasures Our Travel Directors will surprise your clients with unique places that only true insiders know about, taking them beyond the usual tourist path.
Local Specialty Experience local traditions up close as your clients watch locals at work, sharing their craft with you. Learn how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness on our Best of Ireland trip or try olive oil tasting in Tuscany on Flavors of Italy. Local Experts Your clients will discover more about a region with Local Experts such as naturalists, historians and other specialists in their field who’ll provide fascinating historical and cultural insights into the people and places they visit. Wine Tasting On itineraries which pass through wine-growing regions, your clients will take part in sampling some of the finest wines such as in Chateauneuf-du-Pape in France and Oporto in Portugal.
